General Service Questions

How do I request service for my Marathon home?
If you need assistance with your home, you can submit a service request through our Request Service page. Please include details about the issue, your contact information, and your home’s serial number.

What is covered under the Marathon Homes warranty?
Our Limited One-Year Warranty covers structural and non-structural components, including plumbing, electrical, heat distribution systems, doors, windows, cabinets, light fixtures, and certain structural elements like the floor, walls, and roof. Refer to the Warranty Document for full details.

What is NOT covered under the warranty?
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, issues caused by improper maintenance, condensation buildup, or alterations made after installation. Additionally, appliances and fixtures, such as stoves, refrigerators, and water heaters, are covered under their respective manufacturer’s warranties.

Service Process & Scheduling

When can I request service?
Service requests can be submitted once your Warranty Registration Card has been received and processed. This must be returned within 30 days of delivery to activate your warranty.

How long does it take for service requests to be processed?
Once a request is submitted, our service team will review it and contact you within __ business days to schedule an inspection or repair.

Who performs the service work?
Marathon Homes works with trusted third-party service providers to handle warranty-related repairs and maintenance. Our service team coordinates with these professionals to ensure quality service.

Can I use my own contractor for repairs?
Warranty-related repairs must be performed by authorized service providers to remain covered. If you choose to use your contractor, the work may not be eligible for warranty coverage.

Warranty Limitations & Homeowner Responsibilities

What maintenance is required to keep my warranty valid?
Homeowners are responsible for routine maintenance, as outlined in the Homeowner’s Manual. This includes checking caulking, maintaining proper drainage, monitoring humidity levels, and ensuring doors and windows remain properly aligned.

Does the warranty cover damages from transportation or installation?
Marathon Homes does not cover damages caused during transportation or improper installation. The transport company is responsible for any transit-related issues, and homeowners should work with their retailer to ensure proper setup.

What should I do if I have an emergency repair need?
For urgent issues such as major leaks, electrical failures, or heating malfunctions, contact your retailer or a local licensed professional immediately. Warranty repairs will be scheduled as soon as possible, but emergency services may need to be handled locally.
